Then something happens that he cannot explain away, and he starts looking into a trail of fringe researchers who died or vanished. What he finds is that someone turned the strange science into something far more profitable than a theory, and they do not want it examined. Debunked is a psychological thriller built on real research, including remote viewing programmes, the Global Consciousness Project and the placebo effect, with invented people and genuine danger. It is also darkly funny, because Callum jokes when he is frightened. If you enjoy twisty, sceptical, very British suspense, I would be grateful for an honest review.
