About this book

People disappear in this town.
People forget.

They forget why a house feels empty or why a conversation suddenly doesn’t make sense.

Life moves on. Sometimes people even joke about it.

Everyone forgets except the Towns Guard.

Zohaib is new to the role, and he quickly realises that remembering is a problem. The town looks peaceful, normal, untouched by loss. But the more he notices what no one else can remember, the more he starts to look like the only one who’s wrong..
