About this book
A collection of short stories by Rachel Conlin-McLeod. A kid's magic show has an unexpected twist in "Disappearing Act".
A young gymnast in Special Olympics illustrates good sportsmanship in "Spirit". In "The Midnight Club", a few too many drinks served by a familiar face leads to an experience one man will never forget. In the "Black Dance", an overconfident, hard-to-please king acquires a new slave-concubine who gives a drop-dead performance no one can forget. "Something Useful" is the subject of an interesting rivalry among friends that goes just a bit too far.
